There are several kinds of friendships.
Some are superficial ; they are pleasant,not very demanding,and can end easily.
Everyone goes through a number of short-term friendships of this variety.
When they are over, we remember them fondly, perhaps, but don`t really miss them.
Other friendships are very deep.
They are based on mutual trust and affection, and can last a lifetime.
